Italian lesson in pre-IB
Our teachers like to share their teaching experiences and this time our Italian teacher – Anna Kęsoń-Firlej opened the door of her classroom to show one of her Italian lessons. In the lesson students talked about Italian food, looking for and presenting recipes for Italian dishes. Working in groups they had to find recipes for parmigiana, minestrone soup and penne all’arrabbiata (which we found out means “angry”). The lesson was a lot of fun. Students learnt a lot – both about food and Italian life and culture.
