Today, the Festival of Stage Performances by People with Disabilities, called „Reflections”, took place at the Teatr Mały in Tychy. The event was organised by the St. Faustyna Centre of Caritas of the Archdiocese of Katowice.
Our volunteers were there too – students from classes 2c and 2d2, who enthusiastically helped with the organisation and running of the festival. The volunteer team was coordinated by Ms Aleksandra Kasprzak, a representative of the School Volunteer Club.
Our students helped participants navigate the theatre, facilitated communication with the organisers and supported the work of the information desk, buffet, cloakroom, dressing rooms and technical team.
It was a day full of meaningful encounters, cooperation and kindness. We are proud that our students showed that volunteering is, above all, about people and helping others.
